The virotype PRRSV NA/EU RT-PCR Rgt permits the simultaneous identification of RNA from the North American (NA) and European (EU) genotypes of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV). The reagent contains primer-probe sets for specific amplification of a highly conserved region of the PRRSV genome. The reagent also contains an internal control to identify possible PCR inhibition, and an external positive control.
